Gourmet getaway, for lovers,
in Paris Left Bank

From this glorious era, the prestigious school remains, the Latin Quarter known for its liveliness… and a whole cultural side of the city of light! Enough to live unforgettable moments, as a couple, in the City of Love.

Paris, and France more generally, is recognized for its gastronomy and its art of the table. Since the creation of restaurants following the French revolution, the number of eating establishments has only grown, and enthusiasts rise early every day to select and work with quality products.

Anicia, Paris left bank lovers

Just steps away from the historic district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, chef François Gagnaire takes pleasure in cooking these quality products (notably those from the Haute-Loire region) at restaurant Anicia. This highlighting of his work has earned him a plate in the Michelin guide and two toques at Gault et Millau, distinctions that reward his work around products from his native land and products from the Ile-de-France region for a result rich in flavors.

97 rue du Cherche Midi, 75006 Paris

The Left Bank of Paris is full of cultural places to visit, on foot, along the magnificent facades, parks and gardens (including the Luxembourg Garden!). Spanning 24 hectares, the Luxembourg Garden is indeed an essential stop for strolling together… or enjoying a coffee break in a natural setting.

Hôtel Le Royal Rive Gauche, Paris left bank lovers

This route will naturally lead you to Hotel Le Royal Rive Gauche, located just a few steps from the garden. This beautiful establishment offers you all the necessary comfort in an elegant environment, ideal for resting. The staff will be at your service to help organize your second day of discovery, perhaps from the hotel’s lounge and maybe accompanied by a glass of wine. The hotel has 48 suites and rooms, all carefully decorated.

212 boulevard Raspail, 75014 Paris

After a day exploring the treasures of the Left Bank (and why not the capital’s famous catacombs, for the more adventurous!), what could be better than dinner in a Parisian institution where time seems to stand still? Just a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Allard perpetuates the soul of the great Parisian bourgeois houses with its sincere, timeless cuisine.

Allard Paris left bank lovers

In a cosy setting where mirrors and wood panelling recall almost a century of history, refinement is achieved through the simplicity of signature dishes, inherited from a culinary tradition where respect for the product is paramount. Founded in 1932 and taken over by Alain Ducasse, this iconic restaurant celebrates French gastronomy at its most authentic. Challans duck with olives, sole meunière and the inevitable gougère soufflé with Comté cheese are all sublimated with generosity and precision.

It’s a place where couples come together to savour a cuisine that speaks to the heart as much as to the taste buds.

181 rue du Château, 75014 Paris

After visiting the Luxembourg Garden, the catacombs, the Montparnasse district, the Musée d’Orsay, and the most beautiful stores in southern Paris… You can find calm at Clos Médicis, not far from Boulevard Saint-Germain.

Le Clos Médicis Paris left bank lovers

This building, erected in 1773, is the perfect place to rest, each room offering optimal comfort and careful decoration. Clean lines, flamboyant colors, antique style objects… will win you over during your short stay.

In the evening, after visiting the many nearby art galleries, let yourself be tempted by the beautiful intimate patio or the Bar & Lounge of Clos Médicis.

56 Rue Monsieur le Prince, 75006 Paris

Wedding gifts: what original gift
should you offer ?

It’s a big day for the bride and groom and everyone hopes to surprise them with a personalised gift idea. But it’s not always easy to please and to think outside the box. Teritoria has come up with a few ideas for romantic and unusual wedding gifts.

Teritoria offers original gift boxes for a romantic getaway in France or abroad, or a romantic dinner for two, to give the bride and groom a moment of intimacy and simple pleasures.

Epicureans and fine gourmets will be seduced by the idea of enjoying dinner or lunch in a gourmet restaurant nestled in the heart of an enchanting setting, thanks to the ‘Our gourmet moment’ gift box. An ideal destination for a romantic getaway, the pretty seaside resort of Deauville immediately brings to mind the film Un homme et une Femme, a true ode to love.

Just a stone’s throw from the famous Normandy beach, Maximin Hellio ‘s restaurant offers diners a breath of sea air. His menu is rich in legacies handed down from his father Michel, who worked the kitchen at the family restaurant La Voile d’Or. One star in the Michelin Guide and three toques in the Gault et Millau Guide are testament to the chef’s culinary skills. His recipes are based on the catch of the day, with perfectly targeted personal touches.

A complete weekend in a charming establishment

After an unforgettable wedding, couples will want some time to themselves. Give them the gift of an unusual getaway to a charming destination with the ‘Our two nights out of time’ weekend box. This is the ideal gift for a moment of escape, giving the bride and groom time to discover a beautiful region and recharge their batteries in a bucolic setting. In Italy, the Great Lakes region appeals to travellers, with its hills and valleys, turquoise lakes and shores dotted with villas.

Parco San Marco Lifestyle Beach Resort is set in a subtropical park near Lugano. A haven of peace nestling on the water’s edge, the resort boasts an idyllic private beach where you can relax in complete privacy. The indoor and outdoor pools and wellness spa invite you to relax. For a cultural break, visit the Hermann Hesse museum and discover the Renaissance paintings in the Santa Maria des Anges church. Nature lovers will enjoy strolling along the panoramic trail, horse-riding or flying over Lake Como in a hot-air balloon.

The perfect gift to show your affection, the wellness gift pack gives couples the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing interlude in a charming spa hotel. Pleasant all year round, the Provencal region spreads its gentle way of life. On the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, in La Cadière-d’Azur, a picturesque village in the Bandol vineyards, lies one of the region’s finest addresses.

Hostellerie Bérard & Spa is a character establishment surrounded by fragrant gardens. Inspired by Roman thermal baths, the wellness area is transformed into a temple of voluptuousness, with its steam bath with essential oils, sauna and ice fountain, experience shower and relaxing pool. The bride and groom can also enjoy a signature body treatment to complete this moment of relaxation, before relaxing on the terrace with sea views.

If the bride and groom are not close friends, it’s tricky to give them an unusual gift. And traditional or useful gifts are not guaranteed to win them over. Beware of objects for the home, however noble they may be. Crystal glasses or silver teapots are not to everyone’s taste. Unusual ideas can also be a faux pas. Offering a large bottle of wine for a wedding to someone who is not a wine connoisseur, or a parachute jump to someone who is afraid of heights, can be embarrassing.

While it is possible to contribute to the honeymoon by slipping an envelope into the pot devised by the other guests, giving a Teritoria gift card is a nice way to show your appreciation. This personalised wedding gift will invite the newly-weds to start their married life with a romantic interlude, a gourmet dinner or an unforgettable getaway. These gift ideas can also be used for occasions other than weddings: for a wedding anniversary or Valentine’s Day.

Bachelorette party : 5 perfect addresses in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Are you looking to organise a bachelorette party or an unusual weekend away with the girls, where you can relax and have fun? Here is a list of unforgettable hotels and restaurants where you can plan a girls’ getaway that is sure to be a hit.

What better than a breath of sea air to disconnect from everyday life? At La Baronnie hotel and spa, you can start your day with a massage session, a sauna or a dip in the heated outdoor pool.

This cosy 18th-century manor house with its sumptuous wooded gardens is located a stone’s throw from the beaches and the historic centre of Saint-Martin de Ré. An ideal location that allows you to easily walk out to visit the Vauban fortifications. La Baronnie has a period atmosphere à la Downton Abbey with the added bonus of a relaxation area that you won’t want to leave.

If you are dreaming of a stylish but fuss-free bachelorette party, head for this beautiful charming house a few kilometres from Périgueux. The Château de Lalande is a bit like privatising a family home, refined version: large wooded park, outdoor swimming pool, cosy atmosphere and perfectly restored rooms with a classic spirit.

Here, life is lived in its own sweet time: an aperitif with the girls under the trees, a dip in the pool before dinner, and above all, a gourmet restaurant where chef Yves Staebell creatively reinterprets the flavours of the Périgord. Enough to please the epicureans in the group.

Between a few laughs and a few drinks, you can also explore the surrounding area by bike or simply take the opportunity to recharge your batteries in the peace and quiet before the big day. A perfect place to celebrate in style, in a green oasis.

Once upon a time there was Château Le Stelsia – Resort, a unique medieval castle that was magically transformed into a home for princesses. This historic building is adorned with astonishing lavender and candy pink facades. The comfortable rooms have beds that will remind you of those in the Palace of Versailles, in a fruity and colourful version. Glitter, lights and dreams, what more could you ask for a girls’ night out?

The large 23-hectare park of this unforgettable hotel-restaurant will surprise you at every turn. The bushes are trimmed using the most beautiful topiary techniques, in the shape of a crocodile, giraffe or bird.

Once you enter the fairy-tale castle of Stelsia, you no longer need to leave. A bistro, lounge bar, indoor swimming pool, mini-golf, table football, bocce court and even an escape game are at your disposal.

If you are planning a girls’ getaway with elegance, refinement, wine and French gastronomy in mind, then you will appreciate the Château Fage. This residence, typical of the Bordeaux region, is surrounded by vineyards. A large heated outdoor swimming pool and a solarium are at your disposal.

If you have a sweet tooth, you can book traditional cookery classes or a wine tasting session led by a sommelier. There is no doubt that the refined gastronomy of this unforgettable hotel-restaurant, based on a locavore approach (small local producers and seasonal cuisine), will be to your taste.

Château Fage is the ideal destination for a chic, wine-themed break. The welcome is warm and family-like. If you want to surprise someone as part of your trip with the girls, the team at Domain of the Château Fage will be happy to help!

For your next girls’ getaway, you’re not so much looking for a chance to rest as you are clearly preferring a city atmosphere? Then head for Bordeaux! Don’t hesitate to choose a welcoming hotel right in the city centre, opposite the ruins of the Palais Gallien and a few minutes from the Golden Triangle: La Maison Bord’eaux.

This beautiful historic 18th-century building and its stone interior walls are slightly set back from the busiest streets.

Breakfast and afternoon tea are prepared on site every day using fresh, artisan products. The wine list will introduce you to the region’s hidden treasures, such as its finest Bordeaux wines, in a cosy atmosphere or around the pool in the inner courtyard.

In short, a tranquil cocoon in the middle of bustling Bordeaux to celebrate the bachelorette party of your dreams… You won’t be disappointed!
