Near Brescia in Italian Lombardy, the Araba Fenice Hotel is ideally located on the shores of Lake Iseo. In this magnificent Art Nouveau setting, you’re transported back to the early 19th century. Alessandro Ropelato oversees this romantic setting, where most rooms have a small balcony overlooking the lake. A special mention for the "Floating Suite Spa", with its private spa that lets you relive the exceptional Christo and Jeanne-Claude event that took place in the summer of 2016. This hotel-restaurant offers 2 pools for your relaxation: an "adult only" infinity pool that opens directly onto the lake, and a pool accessible to families with a magnificent veranda and panoramic view of the lake. This is where you’ll find the Casual Dining and Lounge Bar "Terrazza 1841", with access to a private jetty. It is from this romantic setting that the chef probably draws his inspiration, so much so that his culinary creations flatter both the pupils and the taste buds of his guests.
