Just a few kilometers from Taranto, Gianfranco Fino's agriturismo transcends the traditional experience to celebrate the perfect union between man and nature in Puglia. This exceptional place offers an exclusive wine experience in an enchanting setting.
Gianfranco and his wife Simona realized their dream in 2021 by creating a winery and wine resort in the heart of the Manduria countryside. Surrounded by vineyards, this establishment is designed to welcome and pamper wine lovers, offering total immersion in local viticulture.
The house welcomes you in suites that blend elegance and modernity with tradition and authenticity. Surrounded by white Apulian stone, you can enjoy the spacious hammam or relax on the private patio with breathtaking views.
Gianfranco and Simona are committed to preserving the terroir and promoting local produce. To this end, they cultivate their vines in goblet shape to adapt to the clay soil typical of Puglia, and produce their wines exclusively in French oak barrels. The Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes are caressed by the breeze from the Ionian Sea, then aged in these barrels, whose porosity and toasty character give the wines body, elegance and structure, sublimating their exceptional quality. The 2019 Primitivo di Manduria 'Es', awarded the Gambero Rosso Guide in 2022, is a real nugget to be discovered. The winery also offers guided vineyard tours and tastings in Italian and English, by prior arrangement.
For gourmets, Gianfranco Fino's home-restaurant offers refined cuisine based on Puglia's terroir and traditions. Garden produce, sublimated by an innovative and technical cuisine, perfectly accompanies the house wines, promising an unforgettable culinary experience.
