In the heart of Genoa, inside Fornari’s prestigious Palazzo Doria on the coast of Italy’s Ligurian Sea, Etra restaurant transcends the traditional concept of dining and invites you into a gallery where food and wine meet. Immerse yourself in a complete sensory experience, combining intercontinental culinary creations with carefully selected paintings, installations and artworks. Born in 2023 from an innovative idea by BF Gallery, with the help of eminent Genoese gallery owners Alessandro Ferrada and Iacopo Briano, Etra presents a "room of wonders" where works by Dutch artists Darwin, Sinkc and van Tongeren are revealed to diners, transforming each visit into a veritable artistic journey. In the kitchen, chef Davide Cannavino brilliantly orchestrates a culinary symphony, offering two menus of eight courses each, revealing his contemporary and international vision. His cuisine, imbued with character, is based on an in-depth search for an innovative gastronomic language, where the technical and tasty nuances of each main course are sublimated by the accompanying "mise en bouches". Etra, an anagram of "Arte" ("Art" in Italian), is one of The Fork’s top 100 Italian restaurants, ranking sixth overall and first among seafood restaurants.
